BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department is asking the community for help in locating a unique piece of stolen property taken during a vehicle burglary.
Police said that between August 8 at 8 p.m. and August 9 at 9 a.m., a suspect or suspects forced entry into the bed of a pickup truck that was parked in the 3100 block of Pasadena Street and took a high value piece of oil field equipment used to detect natural gas.
