BAKERSFIELD, Calif - Wible Road was closed early Wednesday morning after an accident that left one person dead.
It happened at about 2 a.m. near the intersection of Wible Road & Panama Lane, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
Witnesses tell 23ABC a car struck two motorcycles on Wible Road. Robert David Rodeen, one of those riders, was taken to a local hospital with major injuries and died a short time later.
There have been no arrests made and officials don't believe drugs or alcohol were a factor.
The intersection was reopened at about 7:45 a.m.
