One man injured in Southwest Bakersfield stabbing

Incident on the 7200 block of Three Rivers Drive

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - One man remains in serious condition after being stabbed inside a home on the 7200 block of Three Rivers Drive in Southwest Bakersfield early Sunday morning.

The Bakersfield Police Department says that about 1:00 a.m., officers responded to a call of a domestic violence incident. Once officers got to the scene, they found an adult male with major injuries from a stab wound. He was immediately taken to a local hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

The BPD said in a statement that there are no outstanding suspects, and that detectives were continuing to interview other people living inside the home. 

As of 10 a.m., the 7200 block of Three Rivers Drive remains partially blocked off by yellow tape as police investigate the scene.
