County Fire Says It's Time For Hazard Reduction

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - County fire officials say you should be almost finished with your annual spring cleaning around the 'outside' of your home.

With two vegetation fires last week in Kern County, officials say the temperatures are increasing and fuels are drying quickly.

Hazard reduction should be complete by the June 15th deadline.
