Over 1,300 pounds of marijuana seized

6 suspects arrested on site

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Kern County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Units seized over 1,300 pounds of processed marijuana and arrested the six responsible.

The KCSO Narcotics Officers served a search warrant at 1043 North Wheeler Ridge Road, near Arvin. 

The property contained numerous mobile homes, a large warehouse containing an indoor marijuana garden, and several tractor trailers. Deputies discovered an indoor marijuana garden in the main warehouse.

Truck trailers were also found on property, filled with hundreds of pounds of hung, dried, processed marijuana.

The total weight of all the seized processed marijuana was approximately 1,387 pounds. 

All plants were seized. Six male suspects were located on the property and placed under arrest.

Barabe Hernandez, 52; Nicolas Hernandez, 26; Martin Galvan, 25; Emmanuel Apodaca, 21; Matthew Green, 27; and Alex Apodaca, 20, were all transported to the Kern County Jail, where they were booked for conspiracy, cultivation of marijuana, and possession of marijuana for sales.
