BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Over 2,000 specialty vehicles made their way to Kern County today.
This year marks the 27th time the National Street Rod Association has chosen Bakersfield as their host city for this event.
Vehicles will be driven from all over of the US to make this a gathering of vintage automobiles featuring nearly every make, model, and style. The event will consist of cars 30 years and older.
The vehicles will be on display for public viewing throughout the weekend. There will also be a variety of activities such as kids and adult games, Women's World/Arts & Crafts Show, a quilt show, plus more.
There will also be NSRA's own Super Prize Program, where thousands of dollars worth of merchandise will be given away and last but certainly not least there will be three drawings for $3,000.
The event will be April 26-28 at the Kern County Fairgrounds in Bakersfield.
