BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Jose Picazo plead no contest to two misdemeanor counts of will-full cruelty to a child and in exchange a felony charge of child endangerment was dropped.
He was sentenced to a 180 days in jail and 11-hundred dollars in fines. He will also have to attend parental counseling classes.
Last month, he and mother, Soradia Carabantes were arrested at at home on Monterey Street for using the duct-tape to subdue the 14-month-old twins.
Carabantes will be in court on Monday Jan. 28 for the same charges.
