TAFT, Calif. - The second parent of a Taft baby who ingested methamphetamine last summer has taken a plea deal.
Christopher Davidson plead no contest to one count of child cruelty.
He and Gina Barrios were arrested back in August after their two-year-old daughter was hospitalized with meth in her system.
Barrios also plead no contest to child cruelty charges last November and has been in custody pending her sentencing.
However, Davidson was released on a $60,000 bail and will be sentenced in February.
