BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - People of all faiths met at the Liberty Bell to pray for the nation Wednesday.
The event was called "Cry Out for America" and was held in cities all across the country.
Organizers said more than a million people took part in more than 2,500 cities.
The event was designed to mark the anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks and provide a broad umbrella under which people of all faith can unite together to pray for the country.
