Pittsburg motorcyclist dies after crashing in Kern County

ONYX, Calif. - A motorcyclist from Pittsburg, Calif. died after he crashed while riding yesterday.
On April 24, at about 1:30 p.m., officers with the California Highway Patrol went to SR-178, just west of the Walker Pass Summit in Onyx, regarding a motorcycle crash.
When officers arrived, they learned that the motorcyclist, later identified as 61-year-old Marvin Kenneth Elliott, had struck a guard rail.
Officers said he died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
