WOODY, Calif. - The search will resume Monday morning for a plane reported missing in a mountainous part of Kern County.

According to Kern County Sheriff's officials, the plane was reported missing by the Federal Aviation Administration Sunday night in the area near Woody and Hwy. 155.

A search for the missing plane by Kern County Sheriff's Search & Rescue teams was called off early Monday morning due to foggy conditions and low visibility.

The search for the plane will resume Monday at 9:00 a.m.

The FAA has not yet indicated what type of plane is missing or the aircraft's destination.
