Police looking for suspect in Downtown Bakersfield Taco Bell attempted robbery

Bakersfield police are looking for a suspect wanted for attempting to rob a Taco Bell in Downtown Bakersfield.

The suspect gave the cashier a note which said the suspect had a firearm and for the employee to give up the cash in the register.

The employee fled to the back of the store and the suspect fled the scene without any cash.

The incident happened at 2300 H Street at 3:24 p.m. on February 24, 2017.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, early to mid-20’s, 5’10” and 165 pounds with blonde hair, a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
