Police looking for suspect of armed robbery at Stop N Shop

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying and locating the following suspect wanted for armed robbery.

On March 2, at 2:34 p.m. the suspect entered the Stop n Shop Market located at 1007 E. Brundage Lane armed with a black semi-automatic firearm, officials said.

The suspect brandished the firearm at the clerk and demanded currency, liquor and cigarettes which he took and fled from the store. There was no vehicle seen, officials said.

The suspect is described as a black man, 25 years old, 5-feet-6-inches tall, with a thin build. At the time he was wearing a black knit cap, white or gray bandana over his face, black jacket, dark colored pants and black shoes.
