Police: Man stole car from Burlington Coat Factory parking lot

BAKERSFIELD - The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for Grand Theft Auto.

A suspect stole a white Honda Accord from the parking lot of the Burlington Coat Factory at California Avenue at about 10:26 a.m. on May 29, said Sgt. Joe Grubbs, Bakersfield Police spokesperson, in a press release. 

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, 5-feet-10-inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black t-shirt with white “Metal Mulisha” printed on the back, blue jeans and black shoes.

The suspect arrived at the business driving an early 1990’s green compact four-door car

The victim vehicle was recovered the next day and the whereabouts of the suspect and suspect vehicle are unknown at this time.
