Police: Man stole from Dollar General

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Police are looking for a robbery suspect.

On Tuesday, Dec. 10 at about 10 p.m. officers responded to the Dollar General, 401 Union Street, regarding a robbery that had just occurred.

The reporting party informed the officers that the suspect entered the store and selected merchandise and then hid the merchandise into his own bag, officials said.

An employee confronted the suspect who brandished a knife and fled out of the business with the merchandise. No one was injured, officials said.

The suspect is described as a black man.
