Police searching for man accused of robbing multiple 7-11s at gunpoint

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a man accused of multiple armed robberies.

Police officers said that at about 2:30 a.m. on Oct. 22, that they were sent to the 7-11 Store located at 2331 Chester Lane, regarding a robbery.

Officers said that a man enter the convenience store armed with a handgun, demanded money from the clerk, then left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man is described as white, in his 30s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 200 pounds, and was last seen wearing a blue bandana over his face, gray T-shirt with a white design, black long-sleeved shirt under the gray t-shirt, black shorts and black shoes.

The same man is believed to be responsible for similar robberies at 7-11 Stores and other businesses throughout Bakersfiel, officials said.

The man is considered to be armed and dangerous.
