The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in attempting to locate Andrea Ladonne Russell, who is missing under suspicious circumstances.
She is a 34 year old female, 4-11”, 135 lbs, brown hair with brown eyes. She was last seen at the Super 8 motel, located at 3620 Wible Road.
On May 8 at 11:12 p.m. Bakersfield police officers were dispatched to the hotel regarding the report of suspicious circumstances. The reporting party said that one of the long-term tenants of the hotel was missing. Officers began an investigation, and detectives were called early on May 9.
After reviewing multiple hours of video surveillance, detectives said they observed two male subjects removing an object, which appeared to be heavy, from the room on May 7 at 5:34 p.m.
Detectives are asking the community for help in locating the vehicles in the still surveillance photos. The vehicles are described as a metallic brown, late model, Chevrolet Suburban and an older model, red, Mazda sedan.
