POLICE: Two arrested in Porterville after probation search

PORTERVILLE, Calif. - The Porterville Police Department says they have arrested Donald Absher after conducting a probation compliance check on his residence.

Police said they conducted the check on Friday, March 21, around noon, and located approximately two ounces of suspected methamphetamine, suspected marijuana, digital scales and a World War II firearm that they think was stolen during a Porterville residential burglary.

Police said they arrested Absher for suspicion of controlled substance use, controlled substance sales, possessing stolen property and for violating his post release community supervision terms.

Police said they also arrested Leia Henley who was at the residence for suspicion of controlled substance use and for violating her probation terms.
