Police said Wednesday they will search the area sporadically for the next few days to monitor if any more animals show up.

None of the animals had microchips or tags on them, officials said.

Only one dog will be analyzed for cause of death. The veterinarian will perform an autopsy on the largest dog that appeared to have been in a fight.

The veterinarian said the cause of death initially appears to be from a fight with another animal.
