BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A portion of stolen goods was found and is being returned to a Bakersfield woman who had her safe stolen.
According to Sgt. Joe Grubbs from the Bakersfield Police Department, a man was reported selling jewelry out of the Vagabond Inn off of Panama Lane.
Sgt. Grubbs said a potential buyer saw our story and contacted police.
Police made contact with the seller who claimed that he found the jewelry in a dumpster in the 800 block of Karma Court.
The seller is not a suspect at this point, according to Sgt. Grubbs.
The investigation is ongoing.
