BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -  

Flight and ground crews from Civil Air Patrol ’s Utah Wing are continuing to work with several area sheriffs in searching for a missing plane.

The missing Piper aircraft which is white with a red strip.

The missing airplane departed Bakersfield, California bound for Gillette, Wyoming on Sunday, Nov, 25th.

The aircraft stopped in Fillmore, Utah to refuel, and departed the Fillmore airport shortly before noon.

There has been a possible sighting of the aircraft from Sunday in the Mount Pleasant area.

There are currently six airplanes from Utah in the air as well as airplanes from Wyoming and Colorado.
