Power outage affects sections of Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Sections of Bakersfield were hit with a power outage that affected over 24,000 customers, according to PG&E officials.
The 47 power outages happened at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday and was restored at 4:05 p.m.
A PG&E spokesperson said a program being conducted at a PG&E facility failed causing the outage.
