BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Pacific Gas and Electric company said that power has been restored to over 28,000 customers throughout Bakersfield.
The outage started around 3:30 p.m.
According to the PG&E website as at one point there were 77 outages with over 28,000 customers affected.
PG&E spokesperson Katie Allen said the outage ran along Renfro Road south to Copus Road east to Lamont northeast to Edison Highway and south of Stockdale Highway.
