People spoke about their own experiences

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - All over California Saturday May 11, prayer vigils were held to bring awareness to immigration and let those who deal with the issue daily to share their stories. 

The vigils to support immigration were held in multiple cities throughout the state. 

The campaign to citizenship held a local prayer session at Mount Zion Baptist Church and prayed congressman Kevin McCarthy would hear their struggles. 

People also spoke about their own experiences with immigration. 

Since the campaign's launch more than five thousand clergy and community leader have rallied to get people behind Federal reform.
