Proceeds from St. Patty's Day run in Bakersfield to benefit CSUB groups

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - You can burn some extra calories this weekend before a corned beef feast at the park at Riverwalk.
A St. Patty's Day 5K run will take place on Saturday, starting at 8:30 a.m.
Registration starts at 7 a.m., and costs $25.
In addition to the run, there's a costume contest for the most green.
Proceeds from the run will benefit CSUB's School of Social Sciences and Education Community Outreach Projects.
