BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A group of people held a protest this afternoon calling for action against money in politics.
The group held their signs at the intersection of Oak and Truxtun.
They say they are upset with a Supreme Court ruling that allows corporations to use their private funds to held fund what they call propaganda.
Their concern is that corporate funds will instead drown out the voices of the average American voter.
The group also says the US government is in place to help people, not corporations.
