BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Three puppies have recovered and are looking for a home after being doused in motor oil in February.
The puppies were suffering from mange and a person tried to cure them with oil before abandoning them.
Police found the puppies and turned them over to a rescue organization, HALT.
Jeanie Walters, the foster, will bring the puppies to the Barking Lot Rummage sale at 5151 Gosford Road on Saturday, April 5.
Walters says the difference in the puppies' condition is great and that they are ready for their forever home.
