BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The American Red Cross Kern Chapter has announced that they are deploying another volunteer to assist those affected by Superstorm Sandy.
Ric Johnson will serve as a Disaster Mental Health Associate during his time in the northeast. In this position, he will provide crisis interventions, mental health screening and assessment, emotional care and support, psychosocial education and mobilization.
