Ride Christmas GET Bus for FREE for the remainder for 2012

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - GET employees and their children painted a Christmas bus that was featured in the Downtown Christmas parade .
Starting Monday, December 10, the Christmas bus will operate on a different route each day until January 1. Customers boarding that bus will ride for free.
GET buses will operate on a regular schedule on Christmas Eve. Buses will not operate on Christmas Day. The GET offices will be closed Christmas Day. New Year’s Eve, GET buses will provide free service from 6 PM to 11 PM.
Starting New Year’s Day, 2013, GET buses will operate on all holidays with reduced service.
However, New Year’s Day the GET offices will be closed. Customers should consult the GET bus book, call Customer Service at 661-869-2GET (2498) or consult the web site for the holiday bus schedule.
