BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Two people are recovering after a rollover crash along Union Ave.
It happened around 11:00 p.m. Wednesday night near Union Ave. and Texas St.
Police say a white Nissan and blue sedan were both headed south on Union when the driver of the Nissan lost control and hit the sedan. The Nissan then continued across the northbound lanes.
Fire crews had to extricate one of the people from their car, but there were no major injuries.
Police say alcohol was not a factor, but Battalion Chief Garth Milam says the accident is an unfortunate reminder to be cautious on the road this holiday weekend.
