A Safety Workshop is being held on Thursday, July 19 where local community members can learn more about distracted driving.
The workshop includes an introduction and three breakout sessions:
Breakout 1 is low lying hazards, presented by Mack Wimbish with Trinity Safety. Breakout 2 is leveraging technology to avoid distractions, presented by Verizon Connect and breakout 3 is test your driving skills, an interactive session driving simulator, presented by Blind Spots Demo.
It's happening from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at ABC Training Facility on 19466 Flightpath Way.
There will be food, refreshments and a raffle.
