BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - For the second time in about three weeks, a Chase Bank in Oildale has been robbed.
Sheriff's deputies were called out to the Chase Bank on North Chester and China Grade Loop just after 11:30 a.m.
Investigators said a suspect went into the bank, approached a teller demanding money and made threats he had a gun.
The teller turned over an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect took off on foot, however a witness told investigators the suspect may have gotten into a silver Honda Accord.
This same location was robbed on Dec. 20.
Investigators do not believe the two incidents are connected.
As for the suspect in this case, he is described as a Hispanic in his mid-twenties. He is thought to be 5-foot-8 and weigh about 210 pounds.
He was wearing a wig, a baseball cap, and a hooded sweatshirt.
If you have any information about this case, you should call the sheriff's office at 861-3110.
