BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - 18-year-old C.J. Gable is not the typical face of homelessness. But a turbulent family life forced him on the streets just days before Christmas. But thanks to other homeless men who he met at the Beale Library, Gable found his way to the Mission at Kern County.
This story profiles his journey and how ending up at the Mission may finally help him realize his dreams of becoming successful and independent.
