Shed fire at Bakersfield home leads to two arrests

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A fire that started at a shed in the backyard of a Bakersfield home led officials to the arrests of a mother and her son, Thursday.
Fire crews responded to a home at 1100 Linda Lee Lane in Rosedale.
The fire only took crews about 5 to 10 minutes to put out, but while at the home they noticed suspicious items on the property.
When Sheriff's deputies arrived, they found stolen property and drugs at the home.
The homeowner, Sherry Perry and her son, Jordan Perry, were both placed under arrest.
The mother could face charges on drug possession and petty theft, while her son could face charges on possession of stolen property.
