Kern County sheriff's deputies arrested a 42-year-old man Thursday following an annoynmous tip.
Deputies were tipped-off regarding narcotics activity occurring in the 2800 block of Alta Sierra Avenue.
Deputies said they conducted a narcotics investigation in the past few weeks and developed probable cause to obtain a search warrant for the residence and the occupants to search for narcotics.
At about 7:45 a.m., deputies, with the assistance of Kern County Animal Control, executed a search warrant at that location.
As a result of evidence seized pursuant to the search warrant, David Hylton, 42, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, felon in possession of ammunition, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
David Hylton was booked into the Central Receiving Facilty.
