Sheriff's deputies continue search for a man who allegedly raped and molested two young girls

Bethe allegedly committed crimes in 2009

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating William Bethe.

Bethe has an outstanding warrant charging lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14 years, sexual penetration by force, and indecent exposure, officials said.

Bethe is accused of molesting two female victims in 2009 in the Glenville area. Bethe lives in Glenville, however has not been seen or heard from in over a year.

If anyone has information on his whereabouts, they are asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110 or Secret Witness at 661-322-4040. Anonymous text tips can be sent to TIP411 (847411). Just type the keyword “KCSO” prior to the message.
