Sheriff's trainees to participate in community run

OILDALE, Calif. - The Kern County Sheriff's, Office Regional Training Academy will be participating in a Community Pride Run through the streets of Oildale on Friday, Oct. 12.
The academy recruits participating in the run are nearing the completion of a 23-week long, intensive, law enforcement academy.
This Pride Run will allow the recruits to see a small portion of Kern County, as well as be seen by members of the communities.
The run will be in the areas of Norris Road, Roberts Lane, Scofield Drive, and California Street between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
