Police searching for shooter

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Police officials are searching for a man driving a white car in the area of Brown and Flower streets who is accused of shooting at least three people.

At about 9:20 a.m., Kern County sheriff's deputies were sent to the area of Flower and Brown streets regarding a shooting.

 

Deputies said they found three people with gunshot wounds.  

At Flower and Williams streets, a 16-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to his legs.  

At Flower and Haley streets, a 17-year-old boy was suffering from gunshot wounds to his arm and legs.  

At Quincy and Brown streets, a 19-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds to his arm and face. It was determined the initial shooting occurred in the intersections of Flower and Brown streets.  

The victims were taken to Kern Medical Center for treatment.  

The injuries were not life threatening. 

The suspect was described as a black man, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, driving a silver full size four door sedan.  The investigation is ongoing.
