Six-hour AB109 compliance sweep yeilds three arrests

CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. - Officers with the California City Police Department conducted a joint S.I.T./AB 109 compliance sweep with members of the Delano, Arvin, Bear Valley Springs, Stallion Springs and Tehachapi Police Departments Friday.

During the six-hour operation, over 30 residences were searched and numerous subjects contacted with three arrests and one vehicle impounded.

Those arrested were 20-year-old Robert Austin Tharp, 20-year-old Jeremy Curran and 45-year-old Agnus Ford, all of California City.

Tharp was arrested on seven charges, including drug charges and firearm charges.
