BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A juvenile was arrested Sunday afternoon after a police pursuit led to the discovery of a stolen car.

At about 2:45 p.m., officers attempted to make a vehicle enforcement stop when they said they noticed license plates were missing from the vehicle.

Officials said the driver of the car did not yield, leading to a police pursuit.

The driver of the car eventually yielded on 'L' Street, near Chester Avenue.

Officers said they found lots of license plates in the vehicle upon stop.

After running the VIN number, they discovered the car was stolen.

No injuries or car damage occurred during the pursuit.

The identity of the driver is being withheld because he is a juvenile.
