Give a can, get a ticket

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Ford Dimension and Dream Builders are teaming up with the Bakersfield Blaze and the Golden Empire Gleaners to alleviate hunger for children in Kern County.
As part of their summer service project the teen leaders were encouraged to reach out to the community and to partner with local businesses to benefit the Gleaners "Food for Thought" program.
The teens are asking the community to come out to Sam Lynn Ballpark to enjoy a game of baseball between July 5th and 9th, donate canned food to help children in need, and receive a free ticket to a future Blaze game.
Dream Builder and Ford Dimension students will be on hand to accept the donations just inside the front entrance.
