BPD officers search for robbery suspect - Bakersfield police officers are searching for a suspect wanted for robbery.
On Wednesday, January 2, 2013, officers were called to the Radio Shack, located at 2734 Ming Avenue, to reports of a robbery. According to detectives, the suspect entered the business, brandished a firearm and demanded cash and cellular telephones. The suspect then fled the business with an undisclosed amount of money and phones.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 18-20 years of age, 5’08” tall, medium build and wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.
