Suspect wanted for sexual assault, two other counts

Victim is considered armed and dangerous

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -  

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for sexual assault, home invasion robbery and burglary.
 
On Wednesday, Jan. 17, at about 1 a.m., BPD Officers went to Glen Oaks Drive for a report of a sexual assault.
 
Officers learned that earlier in the evening, the suspect entered the victim’s house armed with an unknown type object.
 
The suspect forcefully moved the victim into another room, where he sexually assaulted her. After the assault, the suspect threatened the victim and took items from her house. He then fled the house.
 
The suspect is described as a Black male, in his 30s, 5’10” tall, heavy build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark gloves and dark pants.
 
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
 
The investigation is on-going.
