TEHACHAPI, Calif. - Tehachapi Police received another call from a female student who was approached by an unwelcome man on the way to school Wednesday morning.
On Jan. 30, the 14-year-old was walking by Central Park at the corner of D Street and Mojave when the man followed her, tried talking to her and then reached out to touch her.
The sergeant of the Tehachapi Police Department said they have identified a person of interest but are still warning students and parents to keep a look out.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned Hispanic man in his 50s. He is also said to have a round face with brownish grey hair and a heavy mustache.
The Tehachapi High School principal advises students to walk in groups and to be aware of your surroundings.
