BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Two men were arrested on Tuesday for their involvement in a hit and run accident that left one person dead.
On Feb. 19, officers with the California Highway Patrol received an anonymous tip regarding the suspected vehicle involved in the incident.
Officers said the tip led them to an address in Bakersfield where they found the driver and passenger of the 2008 Chevy Colorado.
According to officers, the suspects, 24-year-old Christian Velasquez and 49-year-old Jose Santos Villa, were identified and arrested for felony hit and run.
Both men were booked at Kern County Jail.
