BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - An SUV slammed into the side of an apartment complex on Ashe Road, crashing through a woman's bedroom last night.
Ekaterini Makaris said she was thankful that she wasn't in her living room when the vehicle stormed through.
Bakersfield Police Department said the driver of the SUV was nowhere to be found. Witnesses said an older man was seen running from the scene of the crash.
