BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -
Tax season is here, but there are some changes in state and federal income taxes this year.
Prop 30 passed in the November election and raised taxes for higher income brackets in California.
That means some could get hit with tax bills they aren’t ready for.
The fiscal cliff mess at the end of the year means some people can’t file their federal taxes right away and will have to wait for their refunds.
