If you're a fan of Shonda Rhimes, your Thursday nights probably haven't been the same.

Rhimes is the head writer for each show in the TGIT lineup and tonight promises a strong comeback after winter's midseason finale cliffhangers.

Martin Henderson said being the new guy on set on 'Grey's Anatomy,' was overwhelming at first, but learned quickly to trust the writing.

"You just sort of show up with whatever the writers write and have to have a lot of faith in the process," explained Henderson.

After the medical drama airs at 8 p.m. (PST), fans are treated to political drama, 'Scandal.'

"When we come back, it'll have been several months since the big blowup," explained Tony Goldwyn.

For Fitz (Goldwyn), it's the first we'll see the President by his lonesome.

"Fitz is for the first time in his life alone. And has nobody, and he's setting at the top of a mountain trying to figure out how to do that," said Goldwyn.

At the same time, fans will get to see Mellie's career continue to flourish.

"It's going to become the Presidential race...maybe some folks from the past, maybe some surprise folks," said Bellamy Young.

Scandal airs tonight at 9 p.m.

Then at 10 p.m. is the dark crime drama, 'How To Get Away with Murder.'

Cast members Matt McGorry and Jack Falahee did not give any spoilers, but did say dynamics between Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and the interns have changed.

"At this point, having been involved in two murders cover-ups, I think a lot of the students are very mentally damaged and dealing with a lot of PTSD and distrust of Annalise," said Falahee.
