The 28th annual Safe Halloween kicks-off Tuesday evening for eager trick-or-treaters

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Tuesday evening kicks-off the 28th annual Safe Halloween event.

Dozens of booths sponsored by local businesses and organizations, including 23 ABC, will be at Pioneer Village inside the Kern County Museum Tuesday and Wednesday evening passing out candy.

Organizer's say the event will also include a haunted house, carnival and so much more.

Tickets are $8 for tick-or-treating kids 12 and under and $6 for adults.

According to organizer's you should buy your tickets in advance before it sells out.
