BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - With the weather warming up many are heading outdoors and Saturday pro and amateur Disc Golfers hit the field for a tournament. 

Golfers competed in the annual central valley series disc golf tournament. 

It started at nine a.m. on Saturday morning on two different courses and Shark Tooth Mountain and The Flats. 

Players said it was a great day for the sport and disc golf is a growing sport. 

The pro disc golf association holds events at different locations across the U.S.
